Commemorating the Historical 24th February crimsoned in the blood of Immortal martyrs Comrade Swadesh and Kalu-the heroic warriors of the Presidency Jail Break up Struggle.
The historical 24th February of 1976 got the glory of being the best among all in the history of prison break up struggle. On that day immortal martyr Comrade’s Swadesh and Kalu freed the imprisoned Comrade’s in Presidency Jail by shedding their blood. Respected leader Comrade Charu Mazumdar has said -“The imperialism since two hundred years have build up the prisons as the strongest base of administrative apparatus, today that very structure of two hundred years is collapsing before the revolutionaries, and hence it is been proved that imperialism has constructed its building on a very loose base”. With their lives immortal martyr Comrade’s Swades-Kalu have proved how accurate are the words of Respected leader Comrade Charu Mazumdar. The revolutionaries remains revolutionary in prisons too, immortal martyr Comrade’s Swadesh and Kalu are the greatest landmark of that. The three places for testing a revolutionary are the prison, the execution field, and rounds of bullets. In this exam they passed with honors. They have voluntarily taken the responsibility of the most heavy task, knowing that death may happen, without depending on forces from outside, depending on themselves in the difficult path of self sacrifice, they made possible the impossible with high degree of courage, alertness, and by accurate planning.
So, the historic 24th February is a major landmark before us. But 24th February didn’t just occurred. Respected leader Comrade Charu Mazumdar has said, “when some incidence happens, we come to know about it. But we don’t get to know then the amount of grief, the amount of tears, and the amount of courage which is behind making the incidence happen”. Like that there is a history of long and difficult struggle behind this very struggle. Every moment there marked a fight against the barbaric suppression-repression-conspiracies of the reactionary administration. The fight was also against their sugar coated bullets. Also there was a bitter, brutal and uncompromising struggle against revisionism, and also there was a fight against revisionist thinking within ourselves. The command of all these fights was the struggle to establish Respected leader Comrade Charu Mazumdar’s politics and to establish his successor Leader of heart respected Comrade Mahadev Mukherjee’s revolutionary authority. Though imprisoned, but they could hear the bombarding sound of agrarian revolution in the rural areas, which made them eager to unite with that struggle. As the river flows breaking all barriers towards the sea. They felt to strengthen that. Therefore underestimating death they freed Comrade’s from the prison. They didn’t carried the question “what good revolution will do to me?” in mind, rather their dream was “a new society will come into being through my death”. As they were armed with the teachings of Chairman Mao and Vice Chairman Comrade Lin Piao. They viewed Chairman Mao, Vice Chairman Comrade Lin Piao, Respected leader Comrade Charu Mazumdar through the eyes of Leader of heart respected Comrade Mahadev Mukherjee. They knew that this era is the new historic era of Chairman Mao, the era of the victory march of the people. They knew enemies are paper tiger, a small power can defeat a big. They had the dream of the liberation of India as well as that of the world in their eyes and on their face. They were united by soul, with the class, with the revolutionaries through out the world, with all Comrades. They were filled with internationalist mindset.
So, if we have to learn lessons from immortal martyr Comrade’s Swadesh and Kalu, then we need to draw it from their strong mindset of self sacrifice, from their uncompromising struggle against revisionism, from their dedication to revolution and hatred to the enemies, from their affection to the Comrades and people. Above all we have to learn from their untiring struggle to establish revolutionary authority. A major soldier of the struggle to establish revolutionary authority was immortal martyr Comrade Dronacharya Ghosh, who had taught us to view Respected leader Comrade Charu Mazumdar’s politics as the alphabets of Mao Tsetung Thought’s, and gave his life while fighting heroically at the Hooghly Jail on 7th February. Party’s leader immortal martyr Respected Comrade Saroj Dutta was a great escort in the struggle to establish revolutionary authority, who led the struggle to establish the revolutionary authority of Respected leader Comrade Charu Mazumdar by shedding his own blood. Along with that we have to listen to the call of the peasants who have lose land, and workers who have lose work, as do Comrade’s Swadesh and Kalu listened to the war cry of the peasants in rural areas. We need to respond to that call. Then despite of the degree of weakness, we will be the master of enormous might through the blessing-unity and cooperation of the masses. The violent tide of third power has risen in the whole world against imperialism and its running dogs. So if we fulfill our responsibility correctly alike Comrade’s Swadesh and Kalu; despite the attempts of imperialism to turn the world into a prison by tying it with globalization in their doom attempt to live. They will be obliterated by the happy arrival of the dream worlds of the martyrs.
Millions of Red Salute to 24th February !
